What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxDicksonStreet, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxDicksonStreet event, video TED Talks and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
Tickets are now available for TEDxDicksonStreet. Seating is very limited so be sure to get your tickets early. Purchases are limited to five tickets per transaction.
From speaking, volunteering, or sponsoring, there are many different ways individuals and businesses can get involved. Check out more information below, or look at the pages across the menu at the top.
Our team is looking for individuals to participate and serve on the planning committee. If you are interested or if you’d like to volunteer in another capacity, check out the volunteer page to learn about the variety of ways you can help.
Individuals or businesses interested in sponsoring TEDxDicksonStreet need to be fully aware of all of the guidelines that are set by TED. For more info on the guidelines and on what areas your business could sponsor, check out the Sponsorship page.
